• Had a lot of fun today at tortuga pirates escape room. David our game master was excellent and we managed to escape with 59 secs to go- cutting it fine! But a very enjoyable experience as it always is. 😊

• We did the Blackbeard escape room and it was really fun and the games master Daniel was great, very friendly and played a pirate very well. Super engaging and will definitely be doing again!

• It was our second time here, we played Asylum and Tortuga Pirates and escaped both! Our game master Josie was brilliant at setting the scene and guiding us through. Alex and Bob at reception were also very friendly.

• Booked the Tortuga Pirates escape room for two people. It was great fun! Loved the way the room was set up and the puzzles were great. Bob was our guide who gave us an introduction to the game and set us up. He is a great guide and so full of enthusiasm. Would definitely book again and try another escape room.

• Took a group of 15 year olds to tackle Tortuga Pirates at Escape reality. They had great fun and finished with ten minutes to spare. The staff were absolutely lovely, and the group photo at the end complete with pirate props made for a lovely memento.

• Arrived to some warm up games in the waiting lobby. The Tortuga Pirates room was great - fun puzzles and really satisfying. We were a team of 3 and all had opportunity to shine at some point in the challenge. Dressing up for our team photos at the end was a highlight. Thanks Avril!

• We did the Tortuga Pirates Escape Room which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had only done an Escape Room once before so thought it would be the right level for us. Our game master was Bob who helped us out on a few occasions!! We didn't finish it on time but because there was no one else in after us, Bob let us finish the game which we thought was very good of him. Would thoroughly recommend.

• We had a great time with our 7 and 9 year olds. They were able to immerse themselves in the game. Clues were good but there are hints you can take advantage of. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back

• We did the Tortuga Bay Escape Room and it was such a fun time. On top of that Cameron was a great host, made the whole experience even more enjoyable! If you’re in Edinburgh looking for something to do with a group of friends this is certainly something to add to your to-do list!

• My friend and I booked this as our first ever escape room and from the moment we walked in we were greeted with the biggest smile.
  
  I have to say that David was tremendous from the moment we walked in until the end of the session. He explained everything to us in detail and wasn't boring or monotonous either. In fact, he was hilarious and full of character. I'd recommend the rooms on him alone.
  
  We done the pirate themed room and unfortunately didn't solve all the problems within the hour but we had a blast and will hopefully get back, and we plan to, to do the other rooms.
  
  Place is clean, welcoming and if you are around or have a spare couple hours, get in and out your brain to the test.......not too much though.

• Did the the first room, Tortuga Pirates, on Friday and booked the second one within 24 hours (Jungala). Both were great rooms with a difficulty enough for two people to feel comfortable solving. The clue system is unique in allowing you to pick the “breadth” of your hint but this was refreshing as it allowed you to progress through the room at your speed. Alex was a great gamesmaster and will definitely be back here again!

• One of the best Escape games in Edinburgh. The theming and staff was absolutely amazing. Definitely must try!

• We, a team of 2 players with limited escaperoom experience dit the Tortuga escaperoom. Well thought through puzzles in a nicely decorated room. And, which is rare, also doable with just 2 players. We had a great time and staff was very friendly. Glad to say we escaped the curse!
