• We did the Nosferatu escape room which was really fun and immersive. The atmosphere was making it scary at times which was a nice touch and i loved the ending.

• We failed at Nosferatu, but it was definitely an 'us' problem! The room theming was great, there was a good range of puzzles, and Alex was amazing at setting the scene and getting us into character! It was also great to hear from him about upcoming rooms and other rooms at different sites.

• We went with our teen son and tried the Nosferatu room. Good puzzles, friendly staff, great holiday activity - would happily try another room!

• We did Asylum and Nosferatu. They were both excellent. Good props, sound effects and puzzles. Although we didn't escape we had a really good time. Nosferatu is better with 3 players.

• Was super fun and challenging. They let us even end our puzzle free of charge and overtime which was super nice. We did Nosferatu and it was great.

• We did nosferatu and the asylum today and it was absolutely amazing! Fantastic puzzles and very spooky in both! Our game master eve was amazing and a very good story teller! Will definitely go again for another room great staff and a great day out

• I've done the Nosferatu before which was very fun. We also did the asylum today, Josie was an amazing game master who went through everything we needed to know to do the escape room. I would also totally recommend asking for a lot of jump scares before you go in as Stephen would be ready to give the greatest scare of your life. The sets were amazingly scary and we managed to complete the room with 10 mins remaining.

• Nosferatu was so much fun! We didn't make it out but D.J was a brilliant gamesmaster and really helped get us immersed in the story.

• I came with my family for the Nosforatu and Machina rooms. Both were very enjoyable, I'd say Nosforatu was a bit harder and half our group preferred one and the other half the other. We had a group of 6 and Nosforatu was probably a bit more suited to the larger group, Machina was a bit more linear once you got going which meant we all crowded round.

• Good escape room setup. There are currently six different rooms available, and Nosferatu was great fun. A special thanks goes to Avril for being such a great host. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Edinburgh and will be checking out their other sites around the country.

• Absolutely love this place! Have been 4 times now and always had an amazing experience! Both Alex and Bob honestly make the whole experience! Most recently we had Alex take our briefing for the Nosferatu escape room and honestly haven’t laughed as much in long time! Highly recommend this venue for something different! So well ran, professional yet friendly staff couldn’t fault them!

• This was my 3rd time at Escape Reality Edinburgh! After trying out Jungala and Tortuga Pirates with one of my friends I was eager to go back. I took my other friends to try Machina and it was great fun, very enjoyable! This time we tried out Nosferatu and Asylum, both were entertaining and immersive with some tricky puzzles but lots of fun!! Our Gamesmaster Alex was amazing and very helpful when giving us hints and even just being nice and friendly!

• Have done a number of escape rooms around the UK (maybe 8-10) and the two that I've done at Escape Reality have definitely been my favourites. The rooms & puzzles are mostly much more thematic and with a greater attention to detail than you would find in other escape rooms.
  
  The hint system works a little differently to what I've seen elsewhere, with the answers to any puzzles always available via the ipad (which also carries a significant time penalty upon use), but crucially you can also call upon your game guide to pop up to the room and give you the odd nudge in the right direction if you don't just want to be given the answer. It's a very neat system and we found it much better than standard clue mechanisms as the game guide can gauge what you're missing and tailor his clue or hint appropriately.

  We did Nosferatu (as a 2 player) and Alcatraz (as a 4 player). Both great - Alcatraz a touch harder but theme of Nosferatu is great.

• Just back from Nosferatu with my husband and what a great time we had! Puzzles were fab not too easy and not too hard if you use your head! The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Has parking right underneath which was super handy! We can’t wait to get back! Esp since we failed 🤣
