We did the CQ Origenes room and it was amazing. The puzzles were quite challenging and we just about managed to get out in time with 22 seconds to spare. The varied nature of the tasks and puzzles is what really made this room stand out. I loved that it was all quite technological, and there was no real run of the mill tasks.

Description:

Professor BlackSheep seeks to recreate the original genetic experiment that turned him into a sheep. He has launched a cyber attack on our old mainframe in the hope of extracting secret data, along with the genetic research he's missing. In order to stop the Professor from breaching our firewall, you and your team will have to access Mr Q's old base. The only way in, however, is to shrink down to the size of a mouse with the help of the Shrink'o'Mat. Word of caution, agents: the technology you'll be exposed to is...a bit unstable and still experimental. You'll have only 60 minutes to counteract the cyber attack and secure the mainframe before the Shrink'o'Mat's effect wears off and things get messy.

We’ve done quite a few escape rooms and CQ Origenes is the best one yet! Great room design, really original puzzles and Rowen was a fantastic agent handler. The only problem is we’ve now done 3/4 of the Cluequest rooms so there’s only one new room left. Also really excited to try the Glitch Hunters challenge when we’re next in London.

Visited 24 Aug and enjoyed this room so much. Alex our host gave us a great intro. Obviously no details for the room itself but it was one of the best ones we’ve ever done (and we’ve done quite a few) - really clever puzzles and not many just routine numbers/padlocks, instead really innovative challenges. Loved it!
