• We played “Warped” - Well designed escape room with lots of different puzzles to solve (and enough red herrings to keep it interesting too). No spoilers but enjoyed the different themes running through and the interactive gadgets. Room guide Chip was great and checked in with us about how much help we wanted. Also supplied some excellent Willy Wonka quotes.

• Me and 3 friends visited and escaped the Warped room, led by Joe (Thanks Joe!). Everything was explained well and we were welcomed very warmly by the Breakout Liverpool team. We had a small technical hitch at the start, and Joe and the team did their absolute best to fix it, but it wouldn't budge. They were very apologetic about the problem, but they found a work around and it worked well, we thought. We were a group of 4, which probably doesn't suit this particular room well. You have to work in quite small spaces at times and any more than 3 people can be quite a squeeze. However it is a great challenge overall with a range of activities and well worth a try for beginners and those more experienced.

• We had a great time at Breakout Liverpool earlier today doing the Warped room. Myself and my son's 4 friends, all aged 9/10 took the challenge of doing this room for his 10th birthday party. The staff warned us before playing that it might be too difficult for the kids and only 45% of people escape. We decided to just do our best. One of our team opted to be our Doctor Who and operate the TARDIS for most of the hour, the room was really well themed and interesting with lots of little well thought out puzzles. We worked out quite a lot of the challenges and got help and clues when necessary. We escaped with 1.23 left and the gang were all super proud of themselves. Big thanks to Maddy who was a great host and gave us a little bit of help when required. Would really recommend this room and will try some more of their rooms in the future. Might even risk taking the grown ups next time!!

• We booked 2 rooms for a hen party my room was warped and it was a team of 3 we did escape and I don't want to give anything about the room away apart from it was good fun and challenging I am not a fan of dark escape rooms or scary ones and this one was fine nothing to bad in it our gamehost Jess was great she was helpful but cryptically enough so that we had to work out what we hadn't done the puzzles its self were challenging and we escaped with 10 mins to spare the place its self was a little hard to find so we did have to call for help to find it but that was fine and there was a slight mix up with our room but on whole we had fun and enjoyed it.

• Completed the Warped room yesterday, the best room yet! Done 7 of Breakouts rooms so far, and they're all fab fun but this one was even better! Great value for money. Thank you to the team for such a great experience, hope to see you all again soon for Spellbound!

• We broke out of Warped, and it was a brilliant day out. You really get what you pay for with this place. Great to see use of different puzzles and technology. Our game master was so lovely, he even gave us an extra 5 minutes to get out!

• My friend and I played Warped and it was the best afternoon EVER! Tom was so wonderful and helped out along the way, best host ever! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

• Sam was brilliant, laughing and joking with us through the H&S brief and the room introduction spiel, as well as providing hilarious commentary on our in-room antics via the clue-screen. We pointed out a directional lock that we'd had some mechanical trouble with (sticking due to overuse), and he made it a priority to repair/replace it ready for his next group.

• We absolutely love escape rooms and come to breakout each year! We might even class ourselves as escape room experts.
  
  We had Reece for our firsts game;OUTBREAK. This room was set up very good for a zombie themed escape and was a good challenge. We smashed through it though and with around 20 mins to go we had 2 or 3 locks to crack. However, due to a technical fault unseen by Reece at the time because of cameras, we were unable to complete the room which was out of all our hands.
  
  Reece then offered us a chance later in the day to have a go at one of the newer rooms; WARPED as compensation for the technical error.
  
  WARPED was so much fun and was a fun ride through time and space and was ran by John who was fantastic! A very challenging game that definitely makes you think! If you want a challenge that isn’t impossible then go for Warped! We managed it with 5 mins and 30 seconds to go which was an above average time to escape in this room.
  
  Big props to Reece and John for making our experience extremely enjoyable and once again breakout was brilliant!!

• We played ‘Warped’ as a foursome and escaped with 5:35 left on the clock. The concept of the game was great but the room itself had many red herrings and a somewhat limited range of challenges. With four relatively experienced players in a small room, there was almost always one person twiddling their thumbs - this particular escape game would be better suited to three/two players.
  
  The dreaded ‘death by padlocks’ phenomenon was very much present although Breakout Liverpool did use all types of padlocks at their disposal and provide the clues for opening those padlocks in a variety of ways.
  
  Our Game Master (Chip) was lovely and asked us in advance how much we would like to be left to struggle before she dolled out clues - a mighty fine question which I personally believe ought to be addressed by Game Masters more often! That said, we did then spend ten minutes waiting for her to send us our first clue and very much got the sense that we were being paced, i.e. we had made it through to the hardest challenge too quickly and were therefore being made to wait so that we didn’t escape with an unreasonable amount of time to spare.
  
  In summary, the room was completely adequate - every lock had a key and every riddle had a code. That said, the room could have been so much more had the company invested in more by the way of mechanics, puzzles and physical space.
