This room is located on the first floor of Breakout Liverpool, to play the room you will have to go down one flight of stairs and up four flights of stairs.
Brilliant fun! Great friendly staff! Me and the wife broke out of the detective room with 8 minutes spare. Definitely going back to do the other rooms!
In this tale, a young detective has sadly been murdered in his office and you are being framed as his killer. You are on the run and have gained access to his office, the crime scene, for one hour. Can you save yourself by finding out who killed him, why someone killed him and how they killed him?
Details:
The Detective Office A and B are identical copies of each other. If you want to book a race game both The Detective Office A and B must be booked.

Even better than I thought it was going to be. We were in Detective Room B which is an easy one but still found it challenging enough to really enjoy. Planning on going back to try more rooms. Great for a group of friends to compete against each other to see who gets out of each room first. Highly recommend.

My littler sisters and I did the detective office B on Saturday. We had so much fun doing it, it was really really good and we managed to break out with only 4 minutes to spare 😱 I’d highly recommend Breakout Liverpool to anyone. The staff are super friendly and helpful and it’s just lots of fun. I actually can’t wait to get another one booked and test the old noggin again!!

Had such a brilliant time here yesterday in the detectives office! The experience was really well thought out and the hour just flys by! The room itself was designed to perfection....not impossible but you have to really think outside the box and be methodical. Our guide was fantastic (reece I think)...thoroughly explained everything and popped in with crucial help at exactly the right moments without giving too much away. Broke out with 72 seconds to spare and we can't wait to go back and try our next room. Highly recommended. Thank you breakout lpool xxx

Had a great time! We played as a team of three, myself and my two sons aged 20 and 13. We played the detective room and it was fantastic. You get so absorbed in solving the clues!! The hints from the game host were really helpful and kept the game moving at a fantastic pace. We would definitely return and play more games, highly recommended.

Excellent , enjoyable way to work as a group and have fun. We did detective room. Room well set out and interesting. Challenging enough for our first experience. Clues were excellent. Supplied when needed a gentle push in right direction. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful

We booked the Detective breakout room for my daughter’s 14th birthday as a family treat. It was so much fun. Even our 9 year old felt involved and able to help solve puzzles and riddles. Would definitely recommend trying out an escape room if you haven’t done one before. We will be back to try a different room.

On a long weekend with the girlfriend we ended up impulsively booking to do the Classified escape room on Sunday 4th August (due to not really knowing what else was around on a Sunday night). This was their 2nd hardest room and after a few hints and a hiccup of one of the clues not being set up correctly (they extended our time by 5 minutes for the inconvenience) we managed to get out.
We went out, had a drink and lo and behold 25 minutes later ended up back there doing another, Detective Room this time and this was amazing, a bit easier than the first but so so worth it, got out with 4 and a half minutes left!
Big mentions to Tom and Joe for being so helpful and extremely friendly. Especially Tom as he had to deal with a very stressed couple and talked us through everything there was to know!
(The Detective room can get pretty hot inside but they do allow you to open the door if needed for ventilation and provide cold water)

We have done nearly 30 escape rooms so far and although these were not ground breaking in terms of use of technology or storylines, they were definitely among the good ones.
We did 3 in 3 days on our trip to LIverpool and managed to escape them all (one with just 3 seconds to spare).
The rooms didn't have any faulty equipment and the hints were given at just the right level to help but not give it away too easily. We played Vacancy, Detective Office and Classified - all about similar in terms of enjoyment.

Being a mum to a 6month old baby isn’t easy at the best of times when it comes to getting out and about but the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Harry in particular, our game host, was really great with the baby and respectful of our wishes not to put our breakout photo on their Facebook page, as we don’t post pictures of the baby on social media- even if she did look absolutely adorable in the detectives hat. Overall a really fun family activity, worth the money and would definitely recommend!

Escape rooms are taking the United Kingdom by storm! The goal of the game is to find a way out of a locked room within the given time limit. Work as a team to solve logical puzzles, uncover clues, and follow the storyline to unravel the mystery. Each riddle brings you one step closer to the ultimate escape! Escape room games are great for a night out with friends, a date, a birthday celebration, or a team-building activity in the United Kingdom.
