Read all reviewsWhat an excellent room! Just completed room 1409 and it was great! Illias was our GM and he was brilliant! This is known to be a tricky room so he asked if we’d like help or be left to it. We said we like to get into the spirit of the room but wouldn’t mind a nudge if we were stalling. He was excellent and helped a little but not so much as to take away the excitement of the room. The puzzles were really nice too. No spoilers but everything made sense and there were a couple of things that stood out which were good. There were also puzzles in this room that we dread (as they’ve been broken in other company games and are kind of annoying). Everything worked as expected and we had a good chat with our GM and he takes such pride in his work that we eagerly booked two more rooms next month. Overall a really good experience, can’t wait to come back and see what Grand Escape does in the future. Thank you so much!

Description:
It all started when you were booking into the hotel, and only one room was available: Room 1409. On a previous trip, you had heard an old wives tale about that exact room… something about a group of unsuspecting holiday-makers being locked inside and vanishing, but that couldn’t be true, could it?
Anyway, you haven’t got any other options, and at this point, all you care about is getting some shut-eye. You’re all shown to your room and everything is fine, but as you hear the key turn to lock the door reality and illusion begin to blur. You need to get out fast, but can you?
