Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. Book one of the rooms in Oxford and find out what will your contribution be!
We came here as a family after redeeming a voucher we received for Christmas. We chose the hostage hotel room and, although it was basic compared to other escape rooms I have completed, we had a lot of fun escaping.

Alice was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and was prompt with giving clues when asked. Would definitely return in future so thank you.
As a family group of four, we found this experience very challenging. We've played other escape rooms in other venues and this one is by far the hardest we've tried so far. The venue is well laid out and the staff are attentive. The game was well explained and all the appropriate safety instructions were told to us before we entered the room.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We completed their latest and most difficult game at the time..... Hostel Hostage.
Family of 4 with 11 and 14 year olds went last night for their easiest room, Pandora’s escape. We had a great time. We read the backstory before online but this was missing from the explanation beforehand which is my only minor complaint. Otherwise we all had a fab time. 2 rooms. Difficulty about right although we did have to get 2 hints in the second room. Will do the other rooms next time as we’re now hooked!

We completed the Professors Predicament which was a fun themed escape!

It wasn’t too easy for a group of first-timers & we wish we’d set ourselves a timer because we lost track of time & worried we were taking too long (although we had loads of time left!)
My nine year old would’ve loved the Harry Potter theme but will need to be a bit older to manage the tasks.
We’ll definitely do another one!
Professor Predicament was the game we chose. The first part was easy but we failed to escape the second part. It was a good activity and one we would participate in again. Enjoyed our 60 minutes, venue was clean and staff were friendly and patient lol.
