Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. Book one of the rooms in Oxford and find out what will your contribution be!
Good fun spending the evening here work the work team. good fun to test the teams strengths (and find weaknesses!) overall, highly recommend for work, friends or even family.zn151
Family of 4 with 11 and 14 year olds went last night for their easiest room, Pandora’s escape. We had a great time. We read the backstory before online but this was missing from the explanation beforehand which is my only minor complaint. Otherwise we all had a fab time. 2 rooms. Difficulty about right although we did have to get 2 hints in the second room. Will do the other rooms next time as we’re now hooked!EssJayWhy
Quite a tough one, but made more interesting by the fact the room appears almost empty on first inspection. Really enjoyable though and definitely recommended!aciddinosaur
Location: On the outskirts of Oxford (so easy to get to) a clean, modern unit with lots of free parking close by. SatNav directions may take you past it so look for Ozone Leisure Park / cinema complex. Comfy waiting area, clean toilets.
Staff: VERY friendly, helpful, polite and enthusiastic which makes all the difference in my opinion. We were pretty useless and needed a lot of help, however as we were struggling (and no one was booked in the slot after us) the staff gave us as long as we needed (so an extra 40 minutes = 100 minutes in all!) meaning we got out in the end.
Will definitely be back!
Recently attended and did Professors predicament, there were 6 of us and it was great fun and plenty to do, I am supprised of other people with negative feedback we all thought it was great fun!Nick P
We completed the Professors Predicament which was a fun themed escape!Claire S
It wasn’t too easy for a group of first-timers & we wish we’d set ourselves a timer because we lost track of time & worried we were taking too long (although we had loads of time left!)
My nine year old would’ve loved the Harry Potter theme but will need to be a bit older to manage the tasks.
We’ll definitely do another one!
Professor Predicament was the game we chose. The first part was easy but we failed to escape the second part. It was a good activity and one we would participate in again. Enjoyed our 60 minutes, venue was clean and staff were friendly and patient lol.Ann M
