Description:

Step into ancient Japan, where the imperial emperor has ordered you, his most trusted samurai warriors, to defeat the evil warlord Tanaka Masamune.

But be warned, Tanaka is no ordinary enemy; he is protected by a powerful curse that makes him invincible to even the strongest warrior. The only way to beat him is to steal the magic stone from the handle of his sword – but first you must escape from the dungeon his henchmen have thrown you into.

You have one hour to break free and complete your mission; any longer and you pay – with a fate worse than death.

A group of us went head to head in the Fourth Samurai. It was such an enjoyable experience, helped along by the enthusiasm of Henry who works there! We failed to get out of the room in time but we had so much fun trying. Its well worth going if you want a fun and unique experience :) We are definitely going to return and try one of the other games!

I had my first visit to Escape Hunt Birmingham this past weekend for a friend's birthday, where we had two teams going head to head in the two Samurai rooms. The escape room itself was great - a brilliant theme for an escape room. Our games master Layma was awesome and we escaped with 10 minutes to spare! The waiting area/bar is great to hang out in too - will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely lovely. We came in with neutral expectations and left happy and satisfied. The puzzles were challenging yet not impossible nd we finished with 15 minutes to spare. I would go again but sadly we do not have the time!

P.s. A shoutout to our Gamemaster Klaudia who did a fantastic job guuding us while giving us hints but not too obvious. Being a Gamemaster for 20 years I can spot the good ones. Also very friendly, funny, dedicated, great at improving the immersion and definately the cutest gamemasters I've met.
