Read all reviewsWe had a great time doing the Golden Hinde escape room. We weren't expecting it to be on the boat itself so that was a pleasant surprise and made the experience really unique! We were pretty rubbish at the clues but the Secret Studio team were really good at giving hints when we needed which kept the momentum going. You do have to wear helmets as the ceilings are very low in parts but overall a very fun night out and thanks to the staff for being so welcoming and friendly.

The Golden Hinde is a perfect reconstruction of the ship Sir Francis Drake sailed around the world in the 1570s.The reconstructed ship also sailed around the world in the 1970s.
It is haunted by ghosts from both journeys. So, the ship holds an unhappy mix of spirits - like a dodgy Rum Mojito. (Which, legend has it, was invented by Drake.)
You will be locked on the ship with these ghosts. You will have 60 minutes to escape.
You'll also learn some history.
But don't let that stop you.
