Trapped in an apartment on the 28th floor, can you rescue the pizza, get the gun, unlock the door, and defeat the zombies? What will such a feat of bravery and heroism take? We did the Escape Room Z for my partners birthday during lock down. Was so much fun. There’s 2 sets of couples in our house and it worked really well as a four. I would recommend printing out the clue cards on photo paper so they aren’t as flimsy as just regular paper, but wasn’t an issue.

You can go more full out with set up if you know how the game will play out, as I wanted to join in we had quite a simple set up.

Took us 50 minutes but we did use a couple of hints from the website

Our family has a tradition of trying every escape room we can on our travels. We have had many great experiences, and a few just so, so. The Escape Room Z experience gave me a taste of the other side by having to setting up the game for my wife's birthday. Our daughter was the game host and was kind enough to "spoil" it for herself, so mom could have her very own best birthday, and she definitely did. We used our family cabin for the setting, and it was awesome. My wife was surprised, challenged by the difficult puzzles, and, escaped in the nick of time. We ran the game in two groups over almost three hours and all 16 who played said they had a great time. Lots of laughs, and a cool theme to fit our party made for an evening we will not forget.
