Carnival of Curiosities

I had a fantastic experience, the game master Tayler was very helpful and patient. We had never been before and found it quite difficult although Tayler was really helpful and guided us through whenever we were struggling, 100% recommend and will definitely be going back. :)

Very pleasant host but game is terrible. The room was so dark you couldn’t see. The game is totally based on padlock key codes, which you couldn’t see. We tried using phone flashlight, which you should never have to do, and even then the light reflecting made it so difficult. Within a few minutes we asked if they could raise the lights and were informed that the ‘games masters’ thought it was atmospheric and despite receiving complaints decided not to change it. Waste of money. Don’t do it.

Came here on Monday to play Carnival of Curiosity and had a wonderful time! It was a great room and everyone has a brill time. Dean was a lovely host and was good at setting out what was in store.

Only thing is the team photo still hasn't been uploaded 2 days since we played but looking forward to seeing it.

Visited with colleagues and did the carnival room and I absolutely loved it. A couple of times we got a bit stuck but only needed one clue in end. Its so well thought out and really enjoyable. Dean was a great host

We had a great time at Escape. We done the Carnival of Curiosities room and Gregor was a fantastic GM. We'll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time at Escape Haymarket, both the zombie and circus rooms were brilliant, challenging and lots of fun!

When we arrived, we were met with James, who first explained the locks we would face and he went over the rules. Then we had a short intro to our chosen room (the carnival). We had an hour to answer the puzzles around the room, some were difficult, some slightly easier, but we did require a few clues from James (who was extremely helpful throughout!!).

We had fun and managed to escape with just under 9 and a half mins left!!! We will definitely be back to try the other rooms, as we thoroughly enjoyed it! :)

The only thing I'll add is we never received a certificate, we would have liked a "I escaped the carnival room" or something. Apart from that we had an amazing time!
