• Brilliant experience doing the Misery room. Elenia our gamemaster was excellent, she explained things brilliantly and set up the lore to the room before we started. This place has very well constructed escape rooms and is in a great location in central cardiff.

  This is the first time we played an escape room so some parts were kinda tricky but Elenia our host was really lovely and helped us out!
  
  The room design is great and the puzzles are really cool!
  
  We recommend coming here and will definitely be back soon:)

• My boyfriend and I went to the escape room on Friday night. We decided to do the Stephen King 'Misery' inspired room and we both really enjoyed it.
  
  It was really fun and challenging and the staff were extremely friendly too. The women who hosted us was very kind and we have both decided that we will definitely be coming back to attempt the other escape rooms! :)

• The Great Escape! That's what we were calling it anyway when we got out! We tried the Misery room, and we weren't disappointed! This was a 4* difficulty (it goes from 3* to 6*) and we were so pleased to escape! Plenty of cryptic clues and things to throw us off. Just enough to make it workable! Definitely worth a visit!

• Max was our host and they were amazing, they helped us when we really needed it. Had a great time playing the 'Misery' room, we thought we wouldn't make it out in time but we made it out with only 4 minutes left.

• Had a great time doing misery. The game was far from causing us misery and pain. Our game master Charlie was bubbly and happy to help when stuck. Managed to complete the game but not without a fight. Would highly recommend for any occasion and will definitely be returning in the future.

• Went for a second time for my birthday a few days ago, this time to do the Misery themed room and had an absolute blast! Jordan was a fantastic and made the experience all the better. Will definitely be coming back to complete the rest of the rooms in the near future!

• The experience was amazing Chris really started of the experience of with a bang and is a natural comedian misery was awesome and a very hard to solve in a good way. • We absolutely loved this ! I came for my birthday with my family and we had never done an escape room before , we thought it was brilliant. Our host Chris was amazing at explaining everything and was hilarious. We escaped Misery ! With 10 mins to spare , deff requires some out of the box thinking and is a little bit creepy 😂 but was brilliant. Can’t wait to book in for more 😁

• Great experience, me and my boyfriend did the misery room and it was very fun and unique. Our game master, Jordan, was also lovley explaining the riddle we missed out on at the end. Overall, would recommend!

• Had an amazing time here at escape reality! “Misery” was a really good escape room as it was challenging and exciting. Jordan was an amazing host. Only thing about escape reality was that it was a little hard to find as the entrance was quite small/not well seen, apart from this the whole experience start to finish was amazing. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff

• My first time experiencing an escape room and I found it thoroughly enjoyable. 4 of us went as a family. We attempted the Stephen King "Misery" themed room but unfortunately we didn't manage to escape, if only we had an extra ten minutes. Our host Chris was very informative and had a great attitude towards the game. We have booked again and will be trying Jungala next time. If you haven't tried them before I would say give it a go.

• Our game master was Ellie and we took an attempt at 'Misery'. Although we didn't finish it (just needed 2 more minutes), we had an amazing time. The puzzles were clever and really got our cogs turning. Ellie was super helpful when needed and the entire staff were super friendly. We will be back again!! #AppleAge

• Had a great experience in the ‘Misery’ room. There was plenty to work out and challenges to explore. It was a bit creepy which really added to the atmosphere.
  
  Holly, our team guide, really set the scene before we entered and her intro was thorough and gave us enough advice not to have any disasters, but didn’t give any hints (until we really needed one half an hour in).
  
  A really enjoyable hour- one of the better escape rooms we have done.

• We did the 'Misery' room based on the Stephen King book. It was excellent, quite challenging and I must admit it did beat us on the last task. We can't wait to come back as the theming was outstanding, I really felt like I was in the scenes. I cannot commend our game master, Chris, enough. He was funny, straight to the point and really helpful and informative of the aim and rules of the game. Definitely come to Escape Reality Cardiff, absolutely 10/10

• My boyfriend and I had booked on to Misery last Tuesday. We love escape rooms and had a blast! So much so that we booked on to another room for the following day. We were met by Fayth and Chris who looked after us the whole time. Fayth was a fantastic games master and Chris offered a lot of banter which made the experience extremely enjoyable. They were so great and we had so much fun escaping Alcatraz, that we booked another escape room for 10 minutes later! Fayth gave us a discount and off we went. Overall, we did 3 escape rooms in less than 24 hours and we had a great time. Thank you Fayth and Chris for being wonderful and we will see you guys again soon! :D

• This place is SO. MUCH. FUN. I went with two of my friends for one of their birthdays and we tried the Jungala room. We had so much fun and Chris made the entire experience so much better. I'm surprised he didn't get fed up with us calling him in all the time for the stupidest of reasons! We ended up booking another room called misery for a month later it was too fun! I highly recommend. Even if you don't finish the room (we didn't make it out) you'll still have an amazing time.
  
  The second time we went we tried the room misery and managed to make it out! It was so much fun we started another room instantly afterwards, we never wanted to leave. The team were so welcoming and let me look at the 'scarier' room prior to being locked in as I have some phobias that could have been triggered! Seeing the room definitely helped and meant I wasn't scared once we were locked in for the next hour. I don't think we would have had as much fun as we did if it wasn't for Chris. He's so much fun!
  
  Also definitely get polaroids! They're SUCH a good memory to have after the event is over!
