Though the rooms are rated 3-6 people, my son (18) and I have done numerous rooms before so we decided to try the throne room on a whim. We made it out with 4 minutes to spare and two hints. Truly, the need for one more person is simply for the sheer number of puzzles and locks, but if you move fast it can be done. So we did the Da Vinci room the next day, and missed the time by about a minute (and again had 2 clues). Both rooms made sense, had clever puzzles and at least one new thing we had never seen before, which completely delighted us. The game master (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name), was fantastic. Absolutely worth it.Michele
Our second escape room, the best one so far. Very friendly staff, easy to find and get to in Oxford street, close to Tottenham Court Road.Håvar H
Lots of puzzles and locks to open, some easier than others, some very clever, but all very good fun.
It was definitely doable with two people, but you need to be efficient and might need some hints along the way. We made it with 26 seconds to go with 4 hints. I think we could have made it with a few minutes extra and no hints
We booked Escape Land ahead of time, recognising the need for a break from shopping and were so glad of our visit. The set up was really organised; the room we did, “Right to the throne”, was challenging but achievable- we made it with moments to spare. It was the highlight of our teenagers’ day in London. We’d recommend it to anyone who likes the need to think and to work together to solve problems.Edward
Visited as a group of 4, loved the experience and they have put a lot of effort into the rooms. We did the DaVinci room and it was really good fun. Tricky puzzles and lots of cryptic clues and tasks to do but we managed to escape! Highly recommended!Karl
We did the Da Vinci escape room for my boyfriend's birthday. 6 players. Made it out with 10 minutes to spare! If one of our party hadn't done quite a lot of escape rooms in the past, I think we would have been much closer to the time cap. We all had a great time and our host was friendly and enthusiastic. Further to this, the escape room owners were very reasonable with the cost when two of our party suddenly fell ill on the same day, unable to make the booking, reducing our party from 8 to 6–this was really nice of them. I would recommend Escape Land to anyone who wants to try it–a great afternoon out! :)Liz
Wow! 3 of us went to do the Da Vinci room after having completed the Game of Thrones themed room a week or so ago.Jazz
One of my favourite rooms, and it wasn't even one of the newer, modern rooms with electronic locks everywhere.
You start off in a small room, but your space slowly expands as you move through the wonderfully thought out puzzles. All the puzzles are logical, and many using fun and interesting mechanics that we found surprisingly enjoyable.
We are an experienced group, so managed to escape with 16 minutes to spare and no clues, hints or nudges... but that is not to say it is easy or boring. All 3 of us had a fantastic time, and we're discussing it for some time afterwards.
I wish they had more rooms, because their other was great as well. I would rate Game of Thrones a 4.5/5 and Da Vinci a 5.
Jana was our host, and although we didn't give her any chance to help us with clues, she was friendly, bubbly and attentive. 5 star service. The gentleman from the previous week - whose name I can't recall unfortunately - was similarly welcoming.
We were even given an Escape Board Game on completion which was a wonderful surprise. (You can see it in the image.) Thank you!
I have 1 complaint. Build more rooms to explore, damn it!
