Historic escape rooms in Chester

Really enjoyed my visit to Breakout Chester. We were there for a work team building afternoon and the group I was in got put into Excalibur. The rooms and clues were really well thought out and we all had a great time trying to solve how to unlock the different types of lock. Unfortunately we didn't break out but I would definitely return and some of the other rooms. Highly recommended day out!!!

Had an incredible time here. Played Excalibur and had so much fun. Very helpful staff who helped assist with picking the game, and also giving some helpful advice when we were stuck.

We did the Excalibur room which is quite hard. We were only one clue away from getting out so nearly there. Great fun with family and Jasmine our game operator was brilliant. Thank you.

We had a great time ,the staff are friendly and helpful ,we did the Excalibur room which had alot of tasks some more difficult than others, we did manage to escape the room.

We parked in the crown hotel which is just a 5 min walk to breakout (check prices).

I would recommend breakout to anyone.

Great puzzle room, with friendly, helpful staff. Really enjoyed the challenge of the 'Excalibur' room - quality set with quality props. 👍
